Part of the reason data and research work well as cornerstone content is because they’re versatile. You can repurpose your original research into all the other types of content. Google reported an incredible hike of the key search term ‘near me’ in recent years, showing that customers are specifically looking for local sellers. When it comes to commercial search terms, winning the ‘near me’ battle could bring you a ton of relevant traffic. It is better to create a content that is user-friendly than exhaustive. Content should be easy and simple to read. If you have two domain versions of your website, i.ewww.example.comand example.com and both www and non-www URLs are serving the same content (i.e the same homepage), then you might face problems regarding the duplicity of data. To avoid such situations, you must first choose the preferred domain (canonical), which is to be seen and then 301 redirects all the other non-canonical to the preferred domain.

How are you supposed to audit your content?

The best way to build links is to not build links. I’ve worked for companies in the past that don’t have to ask for them, they just flow in from press, customer blogs, their awesome blog posts, etc. If this is an option (and we’ll go over a couple of ways to make it more likely) you’re in a great place. The relevance of a website’s content is particularly important for search engines; it affects how high a website will appear in the search results for a given search term. Producing content that ranks well is clearly an important part of writing for SEO. But it’s also about turning those visitors into paying customers. The cornerstone of a successful organic search campaign has always been technical SEO.

Are you seeing the effects of Google +1 on your SEO?

As it may seem obvious by now, there is more to writing SEO-friendly content than ensuring you get a healthy ratio of keywords in. The strategies used to drive traffic to an ecommerce website can differ based on the type of product you sell. What we need to understand is that search engine optimization begins with the simplest of foundations: Create a Website that is easy to crawl, index, and match to queries people use. From that foundation we build greater complexity into our optimization methods and practices. Content gating is a popular strategy to boost conversions on your site. For instance, you can grow your list by blocking a small section of your content for subscribers only, which encourage your readers to sign up for your list.

Give yourself a little bit of control

If you are still basing your SEO strategy around keywords you should probably start to think a little bit deeper around user intent. Instead of looking for one-off guest blogging opportunities the entire time, look for opportunities that could win you regular contributions to a single blog or your own column. These links look very natural, you can get multiple high quality links a month, and if the blog has a decent audience, you'll send a bit of traffic through those links too. SEO isn’t just for large companies. As a small business or local business, there is actually a lot you can do to achieve local goals yourself. Many of these things relate to focus. We asked an SEO Specialist, Gaz Hall, for his thoughts on the matter: "Sometimes you might find broken links to your website. This may be the case if the location of your page changes or if another webmaster misspelled your link. In both cases, these backlinks will return a 404 error."

SEO thats shines above the rest

Imagine what a one-second increase in website load time could do for Amazon? More importantly, what could it do for you? To ensure consistently high quality, business owners and digital marketers need to adopt a long-term content strategy that boosts a website’s search engine ranking and keeps it there. Good content plays a crucial role here. Be careful in monitoring your comments and delete those which you think are linked to spammy sites or to the blogs which are not of your niche. If you are linked to other sites which are of not your niche, those sites can harm you. The best domain names are short, snappy,  include your best keywords, easy to remember, and easy to spell. Including keywords in your domain name will be useful for sites like Bing in particular that place great emphasis on including keywords.
